The day starts with the pupils building their own dye solar cells out of simple materials like Hibiscus Tea. All materials needed are provided. They will measure current and voltage of the self-built solar cells and a few of them connected can later power a small calculator. A puzzle helps to understand the functioning of the solar cells.
There is no prior knowledge required. Please bring your own lunch.
