We have a wide range of preparation, processing and coating systems as well as extensive analytical methods at our disposal for our research and for the many different collaborations with national and international partners. The focus is on the development of technologies for photovoltaics and "related" semiconductor technologies. Our very good network within the HZB and beyond its borders also offers access to further cooperation opportunities.


Our strength is our ability to innovate, which results from an international team of excellent scientists, engineers and technicians, our close connection to the universities with their young scientists and our independence as a public research institution.
